Privacy Policy — PDF to Word AI Converter

This Privacy Policy describes how PDF to Word AI Converter (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the app on your Android device. We built the app to be privacy-first: your PDFs never leave your device.
1. What we collect
We collect no personal data. We do not operate any servers that receive your files, names, emails, or usage data.
2. How the app processes your files
All PDF → Word and PDF → Excel conversion happens entirely on your device. The PDFs you select, the extracted text, tables, images, and the output files all stay in the app’s private storage. Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party for conversion.
Optical character recognition (OCR) of scanned PDFs is performed on device by Google’s ML Kit, which runs locally and also does not transmit image content to Google servers.
3. Conversion history
Converted files and their metadata are stored locally on your device in the app’s private documents directory. You can delete individual items or clear all history from the History screen. Uninstalling the app removes all history and converted files.
4. Ads
We show ads from Google AdMob to support the free tier. AdMob may collect:
- Your device’s advertising identifier (AAID)
- Approximate location (derived from IP)
- App interaction data used to serve contextual or personalized ads
This data is collected by Google, not by us. You can limit or reset the AAID in Settings → Google → Ads on your device.

Purchasing the Remove Ads in-app item permanently disables AdMob for your device.
5. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details. Google stores your purchase receipt; we store only a local flag indicating whether you have purchased the Remove Ads product. Purchases can be restored on any device signed into the same Google account using the “Restore purchase” button in the app.

We do not request camera, contacts, location, microphone, or any other sensitive permission.
7. Children
The app is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
8. Data retention
Because no data leaves your device, there is nothing for us to retain. All files and history remain on your device under your control.
9. Security
Files are stored in the app’s private application directory which, on modern Android, is accessible only to the app itself. We do not transmit your files over the network.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the new version at this URL.
